Medicare Rebates
Your child might qualify for a Medicare rebate when receiving Speech Pathology services. To claim the rebate, you will need to obtain a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan or Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan. It consists of a maximum rebate of $60.35 per session for five sessions per calendar year. Please note that the gap must be paid. Please be aware that there are specific requirements, and your eligibility for a CDM or EPC Plan is ultimately determined by the General Practitioner (GP), who can provide you with further information.
Private Health Insurance
With private health extras coverage, you have the option to seek a rebate for Speech Pathology assessments and therapy sessions. For more information about your coverage level, please speak directly to your health fund provider and quote the following item codes:
310, 320, 340, 350.
NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a nationwide funding program. Let’s Kidmunicate Speech Pathology currently only provides services to NDIS participants whose funds are self-managed or plan managed. To determine if your child is eligible for NDIS please visit their website:
